Product Marketing –
P.F. Candle Co.
Marketing fragrances online poses a unique challenge due to the absence of an in-person sensory experience for customers. At P.F. Candle Co., I collaborate with a team of in-house and freelance creatives to skillfully narrate this story. Curating content that illustrates how our products enhance a customer's environment also ensures that customers can mentally immerse themselves in experiencing the scent.
I bring experience in project management of fully executed product marketing strategies, along with expertise in diverse content creation facets, including copywriting, email marketing, content development, social media strategy, and PR strategy.
Case Study – Wild Herb Tonic Product Launch
In January 2022, we were tasked with creating a marketing strategy for a new scent - Wild Herb Tonic. It is an earthy scent that was inspired by outdoor spas, the healing power of nature and age old remedies of plants and herbs. To launch the scent, we leaned into the New Year rituals that our customers were looking to start, and used language and imagery to evoke a day in an outdoor spa – walking barefoot outside, bathing in a mountain stream, or taking in a chestful of crisp morning air; a luxe expression of the ways in which nature often jolts our senses to then ease us into a calmer place.
Within the first month of launching, Wild Herb Tonic landed in our top five best-selling scents, which speaks to both the understanding of the types of scents our customers wanted and the success of the marketing campaign.
THE STORY
A transformative scent meant for moments of tranquility. Inspired by soothing walks through overgrown herb gardens, wild forest groves, and age-old remedies. This elixir-like scent will tune your senses into the invigorating and grounding effects of nature, transforming your atmosphere into a restorative sanctuary.
